Zen Peacemakers Retreat
August 18 @ 8:00 am - 5:15 pm
Join us for a day of practice together for all those practicing as Zen Peacemakers in Colorado. You do not have to belong formally to ZPI to participate.
Our day of practice will include meditation (sitting and walking), a work period (so bring some work clothes and sunscreen), a talk on the Three Tenants by Shishin Wick Roshi, senior teacher in the White Plum Asanga, and Council training with practice led by Grant Fuku Sensei, chairman of the ZPI Board of Directors.
Registration is on Meetup only, but contact email@example.com for any individual questions. Because space is limited to 30 participants, you are asked to stay for the whole day, with arrival 8 to 8:30 until at least 3:30 pm. Those who don’t have far to drive and wish to continue may sit together until 5:15.
If you can only do a half day, contact me (Karin) separately for a wait list, and we will add you if there is room.
While Willow Farm has cushions, you may wish to bring your own.
The suggested dana is $20 which will be donated to the Willow Farm Guest House Project, a hospice home in development by our Willow Farm hosts.
In addition, if you would like a delicious vegetarian lunch, that will be $8, please let us know if lunch is requested. You may also bring your lunch. Tea and water provided to all.
